Sacred Birth Mentor Program ~ Level 1
The Program:
A 9 week program for childbirth educators and birth professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of their own spirituality and the spirituality and sanctity of birth as they learn the philosophy and components of Sacred Birth Work, created by Los Angeles counselor and mother, Stephanie Dawn, ALSP. Stephanie Dawn, a licensed Agape Spiritual Practitioner of 9 years, founder of Sacred Birth Work, and mother to two boys, born naturally at home and in a hospital, created this work as a coalescence of her own spiritual knowing and training as it related to her two pregnancies and births. After years of private sessions and workshops, the time has come to share this teaching with birth professionals.
This mentoring program will support you in bringing your awareness about life and birth to a whole new level. Become the Rainbow Bridge for the Midwifery Model of Care and the Western Medical Model of Care. Join Stephanie Dawn in spearheading the Sacred Birth Movement and consciously co-creating A New Paradigm for Birth.
9 weeks of instruction and counsel on the principles and philosophy of Sacred Birth Work and the practicalities of teaching this work in your city or town and weaving it into your unique profession. Each week we will cover an aspect of this new paradigm of childbirth education and deepen the awareness of how it will impact your life, your teaching and your chosen profession. Childbirth educators, doulas, midwives, OBs, nurses and other birth professionals are invited.
Each 1 1/2 hour class begins and ends with prayer.
- Week 1 ~ Orientation ~ Spirituality, Your Spirituality and the principles of Sacred Birth Work
- Week 2 ~ Spiritual Practices ~ Prayer and Meditation
- Week 3 ~ Empowerment ~ Fear and Ecstasy
- Week 4 ~ Excellent Self - Care ~ Mental, Emotional, Spiritual and Physical
- Week 5 ~ Conscious Conception and Fertility
- Week 6 ~ Spiritual Practices ~ Affirmations, Contemplation and Visioning
- Week 7 ~ Counseling techniques for the changing identities brought on by new parenthood ~ Transformation from woman to mother, man to father, career girl to working mom, SAHM, SAHD, etc.
- Week 8 ~ Prenatal and Postpartum Intimacy
- Week 9 ~ Summation, closure & blessing
Required Books: Sacred Birth Workbook by Stephanie Dawn (Participants are asked to download the Sacred Birth Workbook/Manual from www.stephaniedawn.com and place in a 3 hole punch binder, as it will become a living, evolving document), Spiritual Liberation by Michael Bernard Beckwith, Ina May’s Guide to Childbirth by Ina May Gaskin, Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom by Christiane Northrup.
Stephanie Dawn will be your personal counsel during the program, available via email and telephone for brief calls. Deeper spiritual inquiry and processing on your behalf may require private, one-on-one sessions, one of which is included with tuition. These sessions are optional and can be helpful as they will allow you to become even more aware of your own spiritual walk and practice and facilitate your deeper understanding of how you are co-creating your life with spirit, and how you can support your clients and workshop participants to do so.

$697 includes entire 9 weeks plus one session with Stephanie. $497 is for those who only want the recordings and are not in Canada, the US or South America and includes MP3s of the Mentor Program, the Sacred Birth Manual and one 1 on 1 session with Stephanie in person or via SKYPE if you are in Australia, Asia, Europe or anywhere else in the world and speak English!
